Sitzpinker (Belgrade/Serbia)

They are so young but they have already embraced the philosophical idea of changing the world, be it only through their rock band, in which there are no – guitars. The fact that the guitars are not necessary in order for a band to sound like a powerful rock band is what this trio proves with its considerate potential on the underground scene.

Drums, bass and a girl’s voice – those are the instruments with which Sitzpinker deliver their urban dream visions, inspired indie, garage and pop sounds of the new millennium. Their three singles and a series of performances at eminent Belgrade clubs portend a beautiful career, something similar to that of Disciplina kičme or White Stripes.
