Max Kochetov Quartet

The Max Kochetov Quartet is a band that have been performing their original music on the Balkan jazz scene and beyond for a decade.

An authentic approach in the unusual framework of his compositions, an original and recognizable tone, are just some of the qualities that distinguish this Ukrainian saxophonist.

Max Kochetov, who has been living and performing in Serbia since 2006, has so far released three albums, It’s Time For Jazz, 13:30 and Altered Feelings, in collaboration with eminent musicians from this area.

His music is characterized by rooted elements of traditional sound with a touch of modern expression in an exciting and unpredictable flow.

The current lineup of this quartet consists of Max Kochetov (saxophone), Andreja Hristić (piano), Boris Šainović (double bass) and Miloš Grbatinić (drums).
