AAaaa adrenaline jump at Gradić Fest

This year, besides culture, art and good energy, the visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a little adrenaline jump organized by AAaaa Festival and Gradić Fest. The fans of extreme and so-called “green sports” will have their favourite spot in the Lower Town, on Vojno igralište (Military playfield), which is at the edge of a grove on the right after the Belgrade Gate, where the AAaaa Festival as a partner organization of Gradić Fest will have its spot for some of the less known adrenaline disciplines – airsoft and mountainboarding.

AAaaa Festival was named after the feeling and exclamation that often follows the participation in most of these activities. It is organized by a citizens’ association “BiD”, an unprofitable sports association of young people which promotes healthy life, sports and recreation. The focus of their activities is organizing sports events with the intention of raising the level of sport spirit and establishing the tradition of sports events in Novi Sad. After seeing that the situation with the sports that could be practiced on Fruška Gora Mountain is no better, they started the AAaaa Festival with the goal of promoting “green sports”, healthy lifestyle, spending time in nature, and giving the opportunity to people of all ages to try something new while practicing less known skills and having a good time. The first AAaaa Festival took place this spring on Stražilovo.

The visitors to Gradić Fest will have the opportunity, which does not arise every day, to experience the charms of two adrenaline sports which are becoming very popular. Airsoft is a rifle with cartridges, very much like the paintball rifle, but it does not contain color and you shoot at a fixed target. Mountainboard or ATB (all-terrain board) is a special board for riding on uneven and extreme, mountainous terrains, which is not so hard to do after mastering some basic skills. The AAaaa stage in the Lower Town will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 8 p.m.
