Partnership program with SOC – from Suba’s legacy to new bands!

One of the locations of this year’s 25th edition of the Street Musicians Festival is SOC, where musicians from Serbia and Croatia will perform on August 28th and 29th.

On the first evening of the festival, the audience will have the opportunity to hear the Modern Quartet plays Suba, a project created for the needs of the multimedia initiative Suba Soba, dedicated to the legacy of Novi Sad musician Mitar Subotić-Suba, who created his works in Brazil.

Modern Quartet is an experimental electronic band from Novi Sad who combine elements of jazz, drum’n’bass, house and ambient electronics.

The newly formed duo from Novi Sad, Zubikidaju, consisting of Dušan Prentović and Bojan Vuković, will have their debut performance at the Street Musicians Festival. The audience will have the opportunity to hear songs from their upcoming album.

On the second night of the festival, the Belgrade duo Weird Fishes will perform, bringing melancholic indie-pop tracks inspired by artists such as Radiohead, Massive Attack and Roisin Murphy.

SOC will also be the venue for the performance of the Croatian musician Peki Pele, who will perform disco numbers from his debut album Deguté, as well as for the musical performance of The Tall Chinese.

The courtyard of the Hotel Vojvodina in Novi Sad is where SOC cafe is located, offering a mixture of good coffee and an even better team. During the day it is a place to hang out, while on weekends it becomes a space for parties with selected DJs.

Pop-ups are not a rare phenomenon, they are complemented by top-quality food and local brands.

Cycling is part of SOC’s identity, whether you are coming on two wheels or you are there for the company. There’s always someone famous at SOC and there’s always something going on.

The Street Musicians Festival – Gradić Fest 2025 is organized by the Art Association “Inbox” from Novi Sad, with the patronage of the City of Novi Sad and the Provincial Secretariat for Culture, Public Information and Relations with Religious Communities
