Mapo Keys at Bulevar books!

The new location of this year’s 25th edition of the Street Musicians Festival is the Bulevar Books bookstore, where on August 28th the jazz pianist Filip Bulatović – Mapo Keys will perform with his original pop-funk project.

Filip Bulatović received his musical education in Belgrade and Cologne, while he perfected his jazz pianist skills in New York. In 2012, he released his first pop single, “Love and Trust”, which announced the direction in which Mapo Keys would later go.

In New York, he founded a band with some local musicians and performed for the first time under the name Mapo Keys at the prestigious club Nublu, where he performed several times. In that period, he recorded two singles – “What Did You Do To Me”, with singer Saeed Renaud, and “Boyfriend”, in collaboration with house producer Jafunk.

After returning to Belgrade in 2020, he continued to develop his sound – this time also as a singer.

He published the songs “Ti i Ja”, “Planin”, as well as his most popular single “Mirisi u magli”.

In Belgrade, he has performed with a great funk band and musicians such as Aleksandra Bijelić, Dragan Ivanović, Peđa Milutinović and Luka Ignjatović.

Concerts at Bulevar Buks are a concept born out of love and the intention to affirm independent bands and less represented musical genres out of the desire to provide support and space to bands with original material.

This bookstore has been the venue for more than five hundred concerts, and each one has been a small spectacle in itself.

Kanda Kodža i Nebojša, Veliki prezir, Virvel, Lira Vega, Bitipatibi, Marčelo, Hornsman Coyote, Nikola Vranjković are just some of the performers who had the opportunity to perform at this place that brings together lovers of culture, books and music.

The Street Musicians Festival – Gradić Fest 2025 is organized by the Art Association “Inbox” from Novi Sad, with the patronage of the City of Novi Sad and the Provincial Secretariat for Culture, Public Information and Relations with Religious Communities
