The Street Musicians Festival \u2013 Gradi\u0107 Fest \u2013 will take place again this year in the Lower Town of the Petrovaradin Fortress, from 25th<\/sup> to 27th<\/sup> of August 2022.<\/strong> Artists of various profiles, musicians, acrobats, and performers will perform at numerous points within the 22nd<\/sup> edition of the festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every year, the pillar of the festival\u2019s program is mostly made up of young people, artists and musical ensembles from the country and the surrounding regions. This year, the local Novi Sad music scene will give us representatives of different genres and styles. From Evgenija Tamnavac’s<\/strong> performance to classic street performers such as the band The Bad Week<\/strong>, who regularly perform on the streets of Novi Sad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band Neke Face,<\/strong> Borivoj Nikoli\u0107, Lost Professors, Marko i Mila, Los Electros <\/strong>will also perform on the streets of Gradi\u0107. As well as the music duo Revirgin <\/strong>(Croatia), consisting of Karlo Kri\u017enik (guitar and vocals) and Paula Gavez (synth). The duo have been playing since 2020 and are currently promoting their first album Simulations<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Performers from Belgrade form a significant part of this year\u2019s program, as every year. At festival\u2019s street points, the audience will be able to see the bands Poinciana Feels, El Duende, FunktastiCoalition Group, Swingsi<\/strong> and the Old Hat Orchestra.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

FunktastiCoalition Group<\/strong> is a jazz funk instrumental group that performs their original compositions in original arrangements. The band operates under the motto that vocals are not necessary for full musical enjoyment. Their audio releases For The First Time<\/em> and Superimposed<\/em> prove it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bands from Novi Sad are also an important part of this year’s program. Banda Drvena, O.K.O.T. and Mitar Zori\u0107<\/strong>, and Vanja Ili\u0107 <\/strong>will perform this year on the streets of Gradi\u0107. Vanja Ili\u0107<\/strong> says that it is important to share music and to accompany it with good times spent in good company. Everyone who plays, sings and dances is welcome at her gig!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The audience will also be able to enjoy performances by Sput\u0144ik<\/strong> from Novi Sad, Lena Hrvojevi\u0107 and Branislav Smuk<\/strong>, Dvatromet, See It My Way, Alt Bags Quartet<\/strong>, and PJ Duo<\/strong>, who have been busking since their foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The selection of the participants who applied for the 22nd <\/sup>Street Musicians Festival \u2013 Gradi\u0107 Fest \u2013 Competition has been made by the festival\u2019s artistic jury, consisting of: the local program selector Jana Kati\u0107 \u010colevi\u0107<\/strong>, the multimedia artist and the Street Musicians Festival program editor Aleksandar Cari\u0107<\/strong>, and the journalist and editor Sanja Macut.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>In addition to the performers selected through the competition, the festival will also feature regional and local artists included in the festival by invitation, who will be announced later. As per usual, all programs will be completely free for the visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
